Plant-based diets exclude all animal products, including red meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and dairy, so they are both vegetarian and vegan.
Plant-based diets offer all the necessary protein, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals for optimal health, and are often higher in fiber and phytonutrients.
However, some vegans may need to add a supplement (specifically vitamin B12) to ensure they receive all the nutrients required.

Requirements
- Clean out your cupboards and fridge of any refined, processed, or animal foods.
- Commit to a change of habit. Veganism is not just a diet, but an entire lifestyle change
- Medical support of your own GP or physician?
- Ensure bloodwork is taken prior to starting the program, review the results with a doctor to ensure that your health concerns are medically addressed.
- Complete the 3-day pre-prep tasks, which may include specific meal planning, pantry organisation, or other necessary preparations.
- Schedule a call with the call-in support team to discuss any questions or concerns before starting the program, and plan to check in after the first week to discuss any challenges or issues that have arisen.
- Read the program book and spend time each day reviewing relevant articles, with a focus on understanding the program's goals and guidelines.
- Begin the program on day 1, following the guidelines and instructions provided in the book, and attend the weekly Zoom meetings on day 1, 8, and 15 to stay engaged with the program and connect with other participants.
