Our Story

Ubuntu Wellness NPO is an award-winning South Africa-based charity and free training school begun in 2013 to create jobs, promote skills and solve food security issues in Africa with  plant-based solutions.
Our social impact model engages both for-profit and non-profit sectors to amplify a plant-based community that includes a BBBEE level 1  NPO ‘Ubuntu Trust’ with a subsidiary BBBEE level 2 ‘Ubuntu Academy’.

Ubuntu Vision

To create Africa’s first financially sustainable wellness-focused educational Academy model.
Only if we nurture and love ourselves can we nurture the planet back to health – we are ALL in this together. In Africa we call this ‘Ubuntu’ and it must apply not just to humans, but to all species and animals. All living beings, including Gaia, have the ability to heal, if just given the chance to do so.

Ubuntu Mission

To empower communities to activate and promote a healthy lifestyle change to  improve human health and heal our environment.
Focusing on vulnerable communities in South Africa with the focus of solving food security issues to eliminate world hunger (UN SDG #2 – Zero Hunger) and rebuild by providing confidence, healing, skills, and motivation to journey towards a sustainable future.
