Ian Macfarlane

Masters in Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE) at Oxford University.   After 12 years of working with the Reiki System of Natural Healing, he established Medi-Spa and Ubuntu Wellness Centre to inspire a culture of wellness firmly rooted in the values of Ubuntu and inter-connectedness.

Xolisile Mahlobo

Xolisile is a skilled accredited vegan chef and is passionate about community transformation and upskilling vulnerable women in nutritional health. As Chair of Ubuntu Trust NPO, she is committed to advancing the mission of creating jobs, developing skills and promoting Wellness.

Dawn Macfarlane

Dawn is a vegan nutritionist and consultant with 30 year’s experience supporting clients transitioning to vibrant health. She has a BA (Wits), NH (Canada) and Professor Colin Campbell’s Cornell Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition. For her, Truth resides in simplicity, eating simply is the way for healing.

Nikki Botha

Ubuntu's Head Chef and Trainer. What she loves more than being a vegan chef, is teaching people HOW to cook vegan. She wants to empower access for all to cook plant foods at home and to inspire others to explore the fantastic, creative and delicious world that is kindness and compassion.

Pearl Mpange

Pearl is one of the first students of the Ubuntu Touch Project trained in 2012 as a healing spa therapist. She has since been trained as a community leader and training facilitator and is passionate and committed to helping you maintain a healthy lifestyle. She reversed her type 2 diabetes in 2021.

Shama Nathoo

Shama is a public-private strategist and Ubuntu community brand champion. For over 25 years, she has helped to identify strategic opportunities that create a meaningful change in organizations through open dialogue and creativity. She is embracing plant-based ancient wisdoms.
